The view from east to west rests on the ever higher mountain ranges of the foothills, which are finally bordered by the peaks of the High Atlas, which rise to over 4,000 meters. These mountains with their snowy sides reflect the sun‘s light on the western horizon in a special way until early summer.

The road is narrow and leads nowhere. Sometimes, out of this nothingness, signposts with bold names like Scarabeo Camp, Canyon Lodge or Oxygen Camp Lodge appear. If you look in the right direction and follow the dusty path, you’ll see nothing again. Sometimes, dust on the horizon shows that this road is actually being used. A sunset in the desert. It is a beautiful experience to sit by the pool and enjoy the light, the wind and the beautiful scenery with a glass of wine. Every second, the sun changes the colors of the sky and mountains around it. The sky becomes brighter in the day and the mountains become darker in the night. The day is hot, but the night is nice and cool.
You can savor a multi-course dinner featuring authentic Moroccan cuisine following the breathtaking color display. Fires and torches are lit as night falls. The more darkness falls, the more the camp becomes a magical African setting, with strange sounds swirling in the air and shadows dancing across the tent walls. The mountains are always watching over the horizon as dark companions, and above the heads of tourists, a magnificent starry sky extends from left to right.
Sitting by one of the fires, the evening comes to a close as the sounds of bells and drums from a little farther away fill the air. The final magic of the Agafay is a blend of Moroccan magic and experience, with a drink in your hand, friends and good company engaged in conversation, and a sea of a thousand twinkling stars.
