We did the camel ride through the desert and rode the quads through the desert to the beautiful lake which was super fun. It was a very relaxing and unique experience, the sunset and night were beautiful with the full moon.
The tents were really great too, big and spacious and really liked the decor throughout the place. would definitely recommend this experience if you are visiting Marrakech as its such a close getaway from the hectic city.

We have already experienced a similar experience in an African country and it is much more expensive

Amazing Experience in the desert of Agafay
All very friendly people who make you feel welcome. We had an amazing sky full of stairs and a really good dinner in the Sahara.
Zaynab organized an unforgettable experience in the desert. He welcomed me all the time (and even in before and after!) during the tour. He prepared everything I needed

Great team, very responsive and giving their absolute best to make the guests feel welcome and attend to any request. They arranged the transfers for us and simplified our trip by option to pay for the stay, meals, and to-from transfers at their venue, using a credit card with no issue.
It is necessary consider the logistics of running a hospitality operation on the location in the middle of nowhere, the menu offer is limited to few meals but this is expected and all of the meals delicious, breakfast was amazing! The experience of sleeping in a tent with full amenities in the desert was truly a unique one.
We even asked (and promptly received) an ice bucket to chill wine which we brought ourselves. Overall the team made us feel we are among friends and very welcome!

Review about Agafay luxury camp, unforgettable experience
I decided to write this review about Agafay luxury camp, to tell my unforgettable experience. We had a great time at the Agafay luxury Camp. The guys were great hosts and fun to hang out with.
Tasty food and loads of it, My friend and I enjoyed the camel ride, the group dinner with a friendly international crowd, and the dancing/singing around the fire, all the activities were organized in a really nice and enjoyable way. It’s worth to stay there more than one night.

We visited this Camp with Morocco Dune Tours and had a fantastic dinner and service from the team. The tents are really pretty and watching sunset is amazing.
Our meal was great and they cater for any allergies along with serving great Moroccan wine. Would visit again!

Amazing camp, welcoming staff!
We stayed at the luxury camp for one day/night. We were a group of six friends, and all of us liked the atmosphere which is really relaxing and beautiful. We’ve spent the day by the swimming pool drinking wine and getting to know other people that were there, during the afternoon we had a quad trip of 2hrs and we had so much fun. It is a place to relax but also a place were easily you can get to know new people.
The tents were amazing with breathtaking views by the private terraces. The food really tasty and delicious. The staff was perfect, friendly and welcoming.
Many wise it wasn’t expensive but ok! So absolutely recommended and for sure we’ll come back to this little paradise.

I went with my friends on a sunny day, the weather was just perfect for a swim. There was music animation at night, belly dancer and a moroccan band. One of my favorit things at the camp is the open bathub on desert dunes…

Followroksana wrote a review Dec 2018Berlin, Germany3 contributions2 helpful votesAn unforgettable Experience!Even though the prices are very high, for us it was worth it. We spent a beautiful day and night in the Agafay Camp that we will always remember! The staff was very nice and helpful. Our tent was nicely furnished and cozy, in the night it can get cold but there was a thick blanket so it was fine. We did a horse riding trip with just me and my boyfriend and Khalid the guide who was a very cool and nice guy and very sweet with his horses. Thank you <3 I totally recommend it! At night time you can see all the stars and the sunset in the morning is even more beautiful. From time to time you see a shepherd walking by with his little goats, I liked that a lot. Our cap driver had an accident so he couldn’t come on time to pick us up, luckily the manager of the camp was very kind and took us to the airport by his car, thanks a lot! And see you soon:)

FollowCecilia D wrote a review Dec 20184 contributions2 helpful votesOne night of relaxing and breathtaking views! WORTH ITWe stayed one night at the end of our first trip to Marrakech and it was a worthwhile treat after three busy days moving about the Medina! What a contrast from the hustle and bustle and hurry of the city. We were immediately hit by the quiet and the remoteness (and the incredible views of the Atlas Mountains!). Our tent was big and airy during the heat of the day and cozy and warm (mostly) at night. The tents provide working wood stoves, king-size beds, wool blankets (but if you run cold, bring an extra blanket in case the stove goes out), sheets and towels, and authentic decorations made by local artisans. There’s a private toilet, sink, and bathtub in the tent too! (with hot running water).
The tents feel private, and all have private decks facing away from the camp. We enjoyed the common areas as well–restaurant/bar, lounge, and poolside. If you’re looking for a glamping experience, this is exactly what you’d expect. The staff were attentive when you needed them, but left you to your privacy otherwise. The food was good and authentically Moroccan (and served in large portions) prepared at your request. The bar offers a wide variety of drinks including local beer and wine

Lifetime experienceI just got home after a wonderful 3 days spent at the Agafay luxury Camp ! Words can’t describe how peaceful, breathtaking this experience was. The Staff are kind, the Moroccan food is delicious, and the tents are so well equipped. Also, I could take my puppy he enjoyed and we felt so safe. We are definitely going back! And I’ve traveled around Morocco a lot- but what this camp offers is pretty unique

Followtiffanyazmouz wrote a review Nov 201819 contributions8 helpful votes+1Magical stay at dreamy place! From the moment we arrived to Agafay Luxury Camp, everything felt like a dream.
The stunning views of the stone desert, we were welcomed by Yousef, one of the owners of the camp who showed us to the beautifully decorated common tent (the lobby) and we were served delicious tea and cookies while we waited to be shown to our tent. The experience just kept getting better and better. Our tent was sparkling clean and had all of the comforts that we could need.
In the afternoon when we
arrived we went for an adventure ride in the ATVs and caught the sunset
by the dunes. It was one of the most thrilling experiences we had during
our trip! We had a guide to show us around the desert and made us feel
safe at all times.
After we went back to camp it was almost time for dinner.
Dinner was served in the common tent while they played beautiful moroccan music in the background. The food was. great, and although the staff did not speak English (which is totally fine, I mean, I don’t speak Arabic) they were super friendly and welcoming.
We were “unlucky” and had a cold and rainy day. Although this was very unexpected weather for early November, the camp was perfectly prepared to deal with the harsh weather conditions. They had enough umbrellas for everyone and extra thick blankets to keep everyone cozy. The rain just added an extra magical touch to our stay.
The next morning we went for a camel ride in the dunes and enjoyed the stunning Agafay desert views. Later we went back to the camp and enjoyed some snacks and a bit of chill time before we were promptly picked up by our driver to take us back to our Riad in Marrakech.
It was truly an exceptional experience and I recommend this to everyone looking for a unique and adventurous experience outside of the hectic Marrakech!
